You can engage in your child’s learning at home and school in many ways. The school council provides advice on school matters and helps to strengthen the important relationship between schools, families and their communities. The council includes family members, school staff and community members.

Volunteers
The Charles Howitt parent council is looking for volunteers who are able to help with various council activities throughout the school year. We currently need volunteers for our lunch and snack programs, but in the future we will also need volunteers to help with an upcoming book fair, Valentine dance, and our year-end Fun Fair.
Lunch Program Information: Volunteers are required on Tuesday for the pizza program and on Thursday for the sub lunch program. The time commitment would be approximately one hour, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
The lunch programs at our school are important fund-raisers for Charles Howitt. Funds generated from these programs have been spent on computers, iPads, playground improvements, field trips for the students, and much more.
